<ul>
<li>We will discuss hosting a reception in the spring to welcome newcomers to the parish. </li>
<li>Fr. Al suggested that we begin to think of how best to make use of the lot behind Benzinger House.  The main building of the Newman Center is at times tight for space.  It is worth thinking about the possibility of building a building that we could use for meetings, classes, etc.</li>
<li>In January, the Newman Center will begin the diocesan capital campaign.  The parish will keep 60% of funds, and the diocese will receive 40%.</li>
<li>On November 8 and December 13, the parish will have open meetings to learn more about the FOCUS group.</li>
<li>Fr. Al noted that many in the community have participated in spirited discussions of the upcoming changes to the liturgy.</li>
<li>Rose Lucas suggested we discuss at a future meeting the parish’s relationship with Sts. Peter and Paul School.</li>
